Dr. Robison received her Psy.D. and her second Master’s degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She has worked in a variety of treatment settings since 1994, and has contributed to the professional development of other clinicians through consultation and trainings, and as adjunct faculty for Villanova, Arcadia, and Argosy Universities. As well as the University of Pennsylvania. She is co-author of a book chapter entitled “Residential Treatment Centers for Conduct Disorder”, published by Springer, and used to published a monthly column on the topic of applying Dialectical Behavior Therapy with an adolescent population.
Dr. Robison specializes in difficult to treat adolescent behaviors such as self injury, addiction, and oppositional behaviors. She also treats adults for issues such as trauma, mood and personality disorders, or addiction, and works with couples who wish to improve their relationship. In 2004 she began a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training group modified for adolescents which runs Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 pm in her Lansdale office. She often runs additional groups, such as a mentoring group for older adolescents and children, and a trauma recovery empowerment group.
